The following letters - written by Heath and Tara
Carey - were read at the funeral of their daughters Violet and Iris
Heath Carey: Daddy Loves His Babies
From the moment I knew you were on your way, my whole life changed. I
was so excited to share the world with both of you. I loved you both with
all my heart, body and soul. I just wanted to take care of you, protect
you and love you. You are both so beautiful and loving it hurts my heart.
You are strong, pure and innocent and you vibrate with love for each
other, mommy, daddy and all those around you. We lived and breathed for
both of you. We still live and breathe for you. We tried with all our
strength to protect you, but in the end a stronger force was calling.
A group of four inseparables has been split down the middle, just like
my heart. Some day those pieces will be together again and our energies
will be one for all eternity.
Violet Anna and Iris Mary, you are free now to fly. You are freed from
the earthly chains, free to dance on the clouds and sing with the angels.
The stars that seemed out of reach are your playground. I know you are
hand in hand with each other holding each other tight. Hold each other
tight and know that mommy and daddy are holding you tight in our hearts.
Until the time when we are together again, just know that daddy misses
and loves his babies with all his heart. Your time here was short but you
will live on forever.
Tara Carey: To Mommy's Little Babies, I Love You
The heavens cried the day Violet and Iris left. We need our angels back
they told God. We miss them so much, what will we do without them? And God
replied, "All in time my precious ones. They're on a mission
now." Just send them your love to carry them on their way, and when
their mission is fulfilled, I promise you will see them again.
And through their love they sent them here to light our dark lost way.
To teach us the only answer to all the questions in the world that
matters. And that is love. And as we came to the point with Violet and
Iris that we really learned love, God told them that their mission was
complete and they were ready to go back home. And the heavens rejoiced to
see them again and showered them with joy.
The people on earth cried the day Violet and Iris left, and told God we
need our angels back, we miss them so much, and God replied, "All in
time my precious ones they're on a mission now."
