Angels are missed
Nothing touched my heart more than your front-page photo
of those little angels, Iris and Violet Carey, who perished in the gas
explosion ("Together forever," July 25). Your headline was so
fitting.
I have a sister who is just a year younger than I am and
we have hung and done everything together our whole lives. I thought of
these two sisters and how short their life together was and how lucky I have
been to have had my sister as my best friend all these years. The parents'
and their families' grief must be unbearable. My prayers and sympathy go out
